Nov 3, 2017 - Nov 5, 2017
This retreat will be an opportunity to explore longer and more in-depth practices than is usually offered at most yoga studios. If you have ever wanted to deepen your practice – or explore where yoga can take you – this is the retreat for you.
You also have the option to add an extra night on Thursday, with additional programming offered. This extra time will be for those who want to learn Meditation for the first time so they can take part in the optional meditation sessions offered during the retreat proper, those who are already meditators and want to deepen their meditation practice or those who want the weekend to be a deeper experience overall. Dinner on Thursday and brunch on Friday are included. The additional night option with pricing will appear just below the room selection on the Registration page.
Mahapātha means ‘great path’ in Sanskrit and the intention on this retreat will be to take this path inwards through a mix and blending of yogic techniques like vinyasa yoga; Yin yoga; hatha yoga (pranayamas, bandhas, & mudras), Yoga Nidra (sleep meditation), and kirtan (call and response chanting in Sanskrit). Some experience recommended.
