Being and Loving Yourself

I truly believe the greatest gift any of us have to give the world is to be fully ourselves. Not Rumi, Jesus, Buddha, Moses, or Lau-Tzu, but ourselves fully 100%.

The question becomes, who am I? And what will happen if I am myself and no one likes me?

Most of the world is not ready for awake and embodied people. They’re not easily manipulated through the usual channels of fear, shame, and guilt. Being yourself may not win popularity contests; look at what happened to Jesus!

But the thing is, the people who love you when you are yourself love YOU and not some act you are putting on. Who cares if everyone loves someone you are pretending to be? Approval is not love, not really.

Loving ourselves starts with this body and mind and extends outward infinitely. When the Self loves the self and the Self, we know true love.
