How to Fight Cognitive Bias and Mental Harmony

Have you noticed a theme in the Ted Talks I’ve been posting? You’ve heard me say it many times in the past, but the message is we are all subject to bias. Because of this, we need to remember that our judgments and impressions of the world are not valid. In Yoga, this is called Avidya or ignorance. One of the first steps in battling Avidya is first recognizing we suffer from it. I hope these videos show that this is not just a yoga myth or something that I say in isolation. Once we know we are afflicted with cognitive bias, we can begin to combat it.
