Some of you have seen the video I posted here or heard me speak about hormetic stress in class. These are usually unpleasant activities to do in the short-term but make us feel good over the long term, just like yoga.
Here is a video highlighting one such stressor, cold water exposure. I have been taking ice-cold showers since the start of the pandemic, and I have no plans of stopping. It is an affordable, accessible, quick, super-beneficial hormetic stress that almost anyone can do with a bit of practice.
