Labor Day Weekend Mahāpatha Yoga Event – 9/4/21

WHEN IS IT?

This event will be held from noon till after 6p in Acworth, GA., on September 4th, 2021, rain or shine. It will be outdoors unless it rains, in which case we will move indoors.

WHAT IS IT?

We will have kirtan with a live band, yoga, and a cookout. There will also be plenty of free time for you to socialize, explore the lakefront property and enjoy canoeing, swimming, and miles of hiking trails.

DID YOU SAY COOKOUT?

Yes! Masterchef Ari Warsaw will be grillmaster, so please bring a non-alcoholic beverage and a protein of your choosing to throw on the grill and a side for your dinner. There will be a refrigerator on premises for you to store your food until dinnertime.

HOW MUCH IS IT?

This event will cost $60—no refunds or cancelations. It does not include food or beverages which you must furnish. We will provide disposable cutlery and china.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Please fill out this form, and I will send a Paypal invoice to the email address you provide. Paying your invoice will reserve your space for this event.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Please be sure to bring the following:

  • A protein & side for grilling and a beverage to enjoy with dinner (all diets welcome)
  • A yoga mat and any props you use (blanket, bolster, blocks, strap recommended)
  • The phone with the number you used to register for the event (in case lost or late)
  • Swimsuit and towel if you plan to swim
  • Hiking shoes if you plan to hike
  • Bug repellant
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunhat
  • Water

HOW DO I GET THERE?

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early (11:30a at the latest) as we will start promptly at noon, and you will need time to set up your mat and to put your food in the fridge.

Follow GPS directions to 2075 Kellogg Creek Rd Acworth, GA 30102. The entrance is marked with a green canoe that says “WILDLIFE ACTION.” Depending on which direction you’re coming from, it is located just before or just after a bridge over lake Allatoona.

Note: some GPS will take you to a spot on the bridge directly across from the waterfront property where the event will be held. You will be able to see the lodge we are meeting at across the water.

Drive through the open green gates; please drive slowly and adhere to the 10 mph speed limit as you enter. Continue down the long gravel road until you see a green canoe that says “LAKE AND LODGE.” There is parking immediately to your right before the canoe sign, or if you turn down the road at the canoe, there is parking available in front of the lodge.

See you there! 🙏🏼
