Before my ‘awakening’ I was very skeptical about chanting and sound healing. This was despite being a musician and being very powerfully moved by music my whole life! Now more and more evidence is coming out telling us how powerful sound and music are for healing and happiness. This is why chanting , mostly in the form of Kirtan, is one of our staple practices in Mahāpatha Yoga.
