Outdoor Mahāpatha Yoga Gathering Tomorrow – 6/21

Good morning, Sangha!

I will be hosting our second outdoor gathering (Satsangha) this Sunday, 6/21/2020, at 10:30a in Decatur Cemetery.

We will meet at the lake which is in the cemetery, but I recommend parking at Glenlake Park and then walking into the cemetery as there is better parking at Glenlake.

It will be Father’s Day, so I know some will not be able to make it. But if you don’t already have plans, come out and support and be supported by the Sangha. And of course, you are welcome to bring Dad too!

I plan to use a similar format to last time where we did some Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and then chanted some. If you have questions, bring them, and I will do my best to answer them. I may also give a bit of a Dharma Talk while we practice Yin or after.

Things to consider bringing are sunblock, a hat, sunglasses, bug repellant, a blanket, a towel, water, a musical instrument, and of course, a yoga mat and any yoga props you deem necessary to practice.

As usual, with most of what I do these days, this will be a free/donation-based event. Collecting unemployment has been a disaster for a gig-worker like myself, and I am not back to full-employment at the yoga studios. So it has been your generous and kind support that has kept me afloat through this pandemic. Your donations have allowed me to offer my teaching for free and support those who may be out of work and unable to afford yoga when they need it most. So thank you. Remember, however, that your most significant contribution is always your presence. So I hope to see you tomorrow!

Jai Bhagwan!
