Meet my friend Jai Ram. He is a beautiful and gentle soul I met through our shared love of Bhakti Yoga (devotional yoga practice) and Kirtan. I knew Jai for quite sometime before I ever learned that he works at the CDC.
Recently, after seeing him write a little about what he saw inside the CDC, I asked him to make this video for you. I did this because I think the CDC, like many large government agencies, can get a lot of flack, especially at a time like this. But all agencies, corporations, and institutions are ultimately made up of people, and some of those people are beautiful and loving people like Jai Ram.
Anyway, please watch Jai’s video, it’s not very long. He gives you a little insight into what he sees inside the CDC sitting in on high-level phone calls with government and military officials.
Jai is very interested in making more videos to answer any questions you might have, so please post them in the comments below or send them directly to me. He does not speak on behalf of the CDC or anyone else for that matter, but hopefully, he can put a human face on what can seem to be a mostly faceless and nameless government agency.
