Because staying biologically young (not chronologically young) is a very good predictor of suseptability to illness and disease. There is more and more evidence that we can significantly influence how quickly we age biologically. There is even evidence that we can reverse our biological age.
However, you cannot do this by doing what “everyone else” does. Following the pack, doing what is “ordinary” will not produce extraordinary results.
