Today we did a partner yoga class in the morning and then explored partner yoga for the other Koshas or layers of our being in the afternoon. The class reminded me of the ‘assisted yin’ I did with Paul Grilley in Level I of his training.
I’ve never done thai massage before so I can’t compare, but according to Andrey this system is more effective than thai massage. Based on what I have seen him do with asanas and vinyasa I would guess he is correct because he brings a very systematic scientific approach to everything he does. He looks at all angles unemotionally – free of tradition and superstition – and finds the most logical way to do everything. I am very grateful for him sharing his knowledge with me and the yoga community.
