Focusing on What is Right – A Spiritual Life Hack

Have you noticed that you tend to focus on what is missing or “wrong” in any given situation by default? Evolutionary biologists tell us this is likely a mechanism that evolved in our brains to help us survive in the ancient African Savanna many millennia ago.

Well, the world around us has changed, but this ancient mechanism has not. What if you could rewire your brain not for survival in the ancient African Savanna but for happiness in the modern world? The good news is you can!

Through the use of tools that yoga gives us like yoga postures, breathwork, meditation, and in this case, Jnana yoga or the yoga of wisdom, we can create a brain wired for peace, love, and joy in any situation. This brings us Buddha’s Nirvana and Christ’s Kingdom in this life, not the next.
