Mahāpatha Yoga & Hike This Sunday, September 20th

Greetings, Yogins! I hope you have been well. Clear your calendar this Sunday afternoon because Mahāpatha Yoga is going to the great outdoors!!!

WHY?

In these uncertain times, I think many of us feel the urge to connect with our teacher and community more than ever, and yet, the reality of this virus makes that quite a challenge. While virtual and online classes are an option, most still feel a value in meeting in person.

To try to address the challenge of meeting in person safely during the continually shifting landscape of this pandemic, I have decided that the best and safest option for us meeting in person right now is to meet outdoors for a hike and yoga.

WHAT?

So join me Sunday afternoon and bring your hiking shoes, yoga mat, some water, bug repellant, a hat, shades, snack, and any props you need. First we will hike the West Palisades trail that is part of the Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area. After the hike we will probably do a bit of yoga, discussion, nidra, chanting, or maybe some of each?

HOW MUCH?

This gathering will be a donation-based offering, but there is a 5$ parking pass unless you already have annual access to the parks. With all but one of the yoga studios I used to work at currently closed, your contributions are both much needed and appreciated. However, if you are like me and have been financially impacted by this pandemic, don’t let money keep you from joining us!

WHEN?

The hike will start sometime between 11a and 2p this Sunday, September 20th, 2020. If you would like to attend send me a direct message here on Patreon with your first and last name and your phone number so I can text you the exact time and details and make sure we don’t leave you behind if you arrive late. Please do not come unless you have gotten text message from me confirming the details!
