Hello, Yogins. I hope you have been enjoying some time off with family and friends.
I wanted to update you about three Kirtan events that I will be involved with that you may be interested in.
First is the New Years’ Eve Chant Party at Vista Yoga in Decatur. Some other yogi/musicians and I will be leading chants all night. This event will start around 8p on the 31st and will go till after midnight. The chant party will be a drug and alcohol-free and donation only event.
Next is David Newman, an internationally recognized Kirtan artist, and one of my teachers will be coming to Atlanta on January 11th. I am very excited to say that I will be playing guitar in both the opening act ‘Shonali and Friends’ as well as in David’s pickup band with Stan Holt, Ian Baccio, and Shonali Banerjee.
Finally, Chantlanta has invited the Mahāpatha Players to play this year. We will be playing on Saturday, March 14th, from 12:30p til 1:30p at the church on Ponce and Highland.
