Here is a brief Yoga Nidra (or sleep meditation) recording I made at a local studio last week. This was at the conclusion of a Yin class I teach there a couple times a week.
If you enjoy Yoga Nidra and would like to do a longer Yoga Nidra with me in person, there are at least three opportunities for you to do so coming up in October and November.
The first in on October 3rd at Mahāpatha Popup. My Popups are 2-hour yoga classes I teach twice a week from 7p to 9p in a space I rent in the Virginia Highlands. Because the classes are longer, we get to spend more time chanting and doing meditative practices like Yoga Nidra. This Yoga Nidra will probably last about 30 minutes. Find out more here.
The next opportunity will be on October 15th during my Fall Satsanga. The Satsanga will be a whole-day of yoga from 9 am to 7 or 8 pm with a two hour lunch break from 1 pm to 3 pm. We will probably do one or two Yoga Nidra that day, along with a host of other practices. These will also be longer Yoga Nidra lasting from 30 to 45 minutes. Find out more here.
Finally, in November we will do plenty of long Yoga Nidra on my annual Mahāpatha Yoga Fall Intensive. This will be over a weekend in North Georgia and will include several long Yoga Nidra practices along with other advanced yogic techniques. Find out more here.
